Prior to joining TCV, Tom practiced law for more than 18 years in Virginia, Mississippi, West Virginia, and Texas. Throughout his career he worked in both large and small law firm settings in estate planning and administration, civil litigation, including defense of law enforcement officers, business and real estate matters, bankruptcy, and other practice areas for a variety of individual and entity clients. Tom completed his undergraduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University with a B. S. in Marketing with a Minor in History. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
