We have an opening for a Client Administration Officer in our Roanoke office. This is an established, growing office with significant existing client relationships. Will manage trust accounts by analyzing and studying trusts, wills and other instruments, to determine the duties of the company; manage IRA entities, investment accounts, and estates; monitor investment allocations; review accounts to understand and address tax issues; and supervise support staff in the handling of related administrative duties.

Will work closely with clients, guardians, attorneys, realtors, and agents; make court appearances at audits or other proceedings; manage estate settlements, including working with beneficiaries to manage and distribute assets.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate with related experience in trusts/estates, law, banking, financial services/planning, or wealth management. Must have proven relationship-management skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make critical decisions independently. Knowledge of basic accounting/tax principles and common asset characteristics is preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Some local (day) travel required.
